Elliott Wave International – A Review

Elliott Wave International is a prominent training company that offers a smorgasbord of Elliott Wave topics that you can learn through online video training.

Some traders are looking for a comprehensive “University” style education in various trading strategies. This can be good yet it comes with a price. (time and money)

Others prefer picking and choosing the topics that offer the greatest interest to them. I, personally, have done both. This  review of Elliott Wave International highlights one small part of what they offer- their Online Video Trading Courses.

Elliott Wave International

While Elliott Wave International (EWI) provides a wide variety of Free Stuff, Financial Forecast Services, Daily Market Commentaries, and Specialty Services I have aggressively explored their Online Trading Courses. I have found them to be very focused and containing techniques that can be applied immediately.

Jeffrey Kennedy

Although all the instructors are vastly knowledgeable in Elliott Waves I have had the most life-changing experiences studying under Jeffrey Kennedy- through his online courses. Jeffrey brings 20+ years of experience as an analyst, trader, and teacher to Elliott Wave Junctures. He is an adjunct professor of technical analysis at Georgia Tech University.

Elliott Wave Analysis can be complex

If you are one of those traders who has come to realize the predictive value of Elliott Waves you are probably aware that it can be a daunting task to learn how to spot these wave patterns in the market. Before I learned of EWI I spent thousands of dollars trying to learn Elliott Waves. I knew that if we can only understand where the market is in the Elliott Wave sequence we can anticipate Market Reversals with greater accuracy.

Simplifying the Complex

One of my skills is presenting complicated things in simple ways. I enjoy doing that and I recognize that skill in others. You have probably observed that there are a lot of very smart people out there who are unable to effectively teach what they know.

For example, Albert Einstein’s famous mass-energy equivalence formula summarized mass and energy in the simplest possible way.  Einstein said,”Make everything as simple as possible, but not simpler.”

R.N. Elliott studied the “chaotic” nature of the stock markets and found patterns in the chaos. He simplified the nature of the markets when he described the price movement in terms of his basic 8-wave sequence that is now know as Elliott Waves.

Then, Jeffrey Kennedy, of Elliott Wave International, simplified the complexity of Elliott Waves by showing how to spot the basic Elliott Wave sequence very quickly and easily. With his technique a trader can literally use a pencil and a ruler to identify the Elliott Wave sequence. He calls his technique, “The Kennedy Channeling Technique.” After investing much time, effort and money learning how to identify Elliott Waves I quickly learned to identify the basic sequence through just one of Jeffrey Kennedy’s online courses. His simplification is not unlike the simplification of  Einstein’s formula. Jeffrey Kennedy is one of those intelligent people who IS able to communicate his knowledge to the masses in the simplest possible way. I respect and admire that skill.

The following is a screen shot of where I identified the 5-wave pattern in less than a minute using Kennedy’s Technique. I removed all the trendline channels except for the first one to protect his  Intellectual Property Rights. His “Base Channel” confirms Wave 3 price action.

Patterns is Chaos

Another nugget I learned from Jeffrey Kennedy was how to spot and trade his “favorite chart pattern.” After taking his two-part online course I understood how to trade that particular chart pattern. I clearly remember my first trade where I applied what I had learned. The screen shot below illustrates it.

Chart pattern preceeded a strong Market Reversal

A the end of this two-part online course Jeffrey offered a “Challenge.” He said, “I’d like to make a challenge to you… a challenge designed to supercharge your trading. If you would like to improve your trading, next year, by ten fold trade nothing but (this particular chart pattern.) He went on to say that by doing this it will focus your trading on a very high-probability pattern.

Summary

I reviewed a very small portion of what Elliot Wave International offers to traders and investors. Two of the life-changing nuggets I came away with include learning how to quickly and easily identify Elliott Wave Patterns with the Kennedy Channeling Technique and how to trade a very high-probability Elliott Wave pattern. This company is well-worth looking into.

  4. You really make it seem really easy together with your presentation however I to find this topic to be really one
thing that I feel I would by no means understand.

It seems too complicated and very vast for me.
I’m having a look ahead on your next submit, I’ll try to get the
    cling of it!

  5. Amazing article, thank you so much
